Create your own set of hand-carved stamps in just 2 hours - no experience needed!
Discover the joy of making your very own hand-carved stamps! In this course, you’ll learn step-by-step how to design, carve, and print stamps using soft rubber blocks. I’ll discuss materials and demonstrate carving techniques, and then will guide you through three beginner-friendly designs that anyone can draw! (I’ll provide designs, but if you so choose, you may make your own designs). We’ll go through three designs and create your first collection of stamps!
You’ll leave with unique handmade stamps you can use for cards, letters, postcards, envelopes, scrapbooks, dish towels, and more…and of course the techniques to make more stamps! Kits will be available for purchase at the end of class.

Stamp carving will take place on Wednesday, September 17 from 6:30-8:30 pm at Ground Coffee Shop in Hood River. Alls material provided - just bring yourself! You’ll take home your own set of hand-carved sets.
