This is part 3 of our 3-part printmaking series! You are welcome to join us for one, two, or all of the workshops! We’d love to create a sense of community, so we invite you to join multiple classes. Don’t miss our bundle & save listing!
In this workshop, you’ll design and carve your very own finished linocut print!
You’ll have two options for preparing your artwork:
Draw your own design directly onto a linoleum block, or
Transfer your design using tracing paper (we’ll cover this method in class). If you’d like to try the transfer method and would like to prepare in advance, I would suggest bringing an original drawing or a printed photograph that you can trace.
Once your design is ready, you’ll carve it into the block and create two finished prints on thick paper to take home.
Your workshop tuition includes one linoleum block, two sheets of printmaking paper, and access to carving tools and ink during the session. Linocut kits will also be available for purchase if you’d like to continue at home.
