Come and explore the exciting world of linocut printmaking! Linocut is a type of relief printmaking that uses block carving and ink transfer techniques. You will learn how to design and carve your own images into linoleum blocks and create beautiful prints.
During this workshop, I will explain linocut supplies, teach carving techniques and demonstrate inking technique. You will receive one linoleum block and I’ll provide instruction and guidance on how to carve it, so that you feel confident in your carving skills by the end of the class. There will be a guided design during this class - if you want to carve your own design, sign up for Part 2!
